This isn’t just about one election. It’s about who gets to make decisions about our health, our bodies, and our futures.
For years, politicians in Texas and Washington have worked to dismantle access to reproductive health care—passing bans so extreme they now interfere with basic medical treatment. These policies have forced Texans to travel hundreds of miles for care, navigate legal risks just to support one another, or go without care altogether.
The consequences are delayed emergency care, preventable health complications, death, and families left without options.
And politicians like Ken Paxton are working to take this same agenda nationwide.
Who We Are
Planned Parenthood Texas Votes (PPTV) is the political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood in Texas. We work to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care—including abortion—through elections, legislation, and grassroots organizing.
In a state where politicians have spent years attacking access to care, PPTV exists to change the political conditions that enable those attacks. We believe in a Texas where every person—no matter their income, race, sexual orientation, or where they live—can access the full range of reproductive health care and sex education without political interference.
Why This Matters Now
The same policies that have harmed Texans are now being pushed at the national level. This moment calls for all of us to unite and stop the spread of these attacks to the rest of the country.
